Custom orders are delivered direct and installed by our own crew, not a subcontractor. For Westridge estate lots with long driveways and wide front windows, we bring a two-person crew and plan the install for a single day. If you back onto the Trans Canada Trail, which follows the old rail line through the village, mention it when you book. Parking can be easier on the side street. ### Family Homes and Estate Lots We Know Well Fairwinds and Jackson Trails are family neighbourhoods built mostly in the 2000s and 2010s, with standard-size bedroom windows and bigger glass in the great room. Young kids mean cordless matters, and since May 1, 2022, Health Canada's corded window covering rules cap reachable cords at 22 cm, so we default to cordless lift on everything unless you ask otherwise. Westridge has larger estate-style homes with oversized windows, transoms and the occasional arch. Those are custom-only windows. We template the shape in paper or by laser and order shades cut to fit, usually about 4 weeks out. The village core along Main Street dates back to an 1854 post office and has older homes too, some with original trim worth keeping visible, where inside-mount wood blinds or shutters look right.
